Fifth Avenue Grande Dame Office Building

711 Fifth Avenue is located at the core of one of the most exclusive commercial, residential and retail corridors in the world: The Plaza District – a submarket synonymous with wealth and luxury. Originally designed by Bethlehem Engineering Corporation and completed in 1927, the building was presented with a design award by the Fifth Avenue Association for its elegance and beauty.

The building has enjoyed almost a century of institutional ownership as one of only 20 boutique office buildings along Fifth Avenue, the most prestigious office and retail location in New York City. 711 Fifth Avenue has enjoyed historic tenancy, serving as headquarters to notable corporations such as NBC, Columbia Pictures, and its namesake, Coca-Cola.

The 56,000 square foot retail and restaurant space at 711 Fifth Avenue has attracted destination retailers and restaurants, such as La Cote Basque Restaurant, The Walt Disney Store, and Ralph Lauren. The building is still home to the renowned Polo Bar.

SHVO acquired 711 Fifth in September 2019. While continuing to operate the 340,000 square feet of office and retail space, SHVO will elevate the property through enhancements to both public spaces and building amenities.
